Duality Series: Yin and Yang : The Duality Series explores Yin-Yang, male-female, the andogynous light beings we are spiritually.
Focus is on space ,light, energy and that we are spiritual beings visiting the physical plane through the body. These alabaster pieces are carved so thin you can see through them like glass. The light shines through as a symbol of our spirit and life energy or "qi". My years of daily meditation have influenced this series greatly. (I am still building the site so there are several more pix coming.)

Guardian Series : "Psychic transmissions" from the Other Side. Charcoal drawings of Guardians appeared mysteriously 2 years before I was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. The other Guardians, Archangels and Angles appeared consitently during treatment and my healing from cancer. I cannot claim these works as my own. They are messengers from the Other Side. I have noticed these figures bring healing energy to those who are drawn to them. Some people have seen them in their dreams.

The Artistic Process : The process of carving stone fascinates many. In our minds and experience we think of stone as an ancient symbol of eternity and impenetrable. So people always ask me:"How in the world do you carve stone?" as if I had magic powers. First, any stone that is carveable is considered "soft" such as soapstone, alabaster, limestone, marble, granite, jade, etc. You probably cannot carve the stone in your backyard because it is igneus rock and extremely hard. There is "direct" carving and "concept" carving. I usually use the "direct" carving method as you see here. Drawing daily helps me because then I have more experiences with form, and new ideas come from that. Enjoy!
